Y pentref yn ganolfan poblogaidd ar gyfer ymwelwyr ym misoedd yr haf erbyn hyn a'r traeth yn llawn bol-heulwyr a chyfleoedd chwaraeon dwr -hwylio, sglefrio, syrffio ayb yn ardderchog.

Adeilad y Swyddfa Bost yng nghanol y pentref o ddiddordeb pensaerniol arbennig, wedi ei gynllunio i fod yn rhan o batrwm y pentref o ran ffurf a defnydd.

Regata boblogaidd bob mis Awst a chystadlaethau agored i'r byd. Cyfleusterau trefnu teithiau pleser neu deithiau pysgota yn y bae, a'r gwasanaeth rheolaidd i Enlli o Borth Meudwy o dde-orllewin y traeth neu o'r traeth ei hun ar rai dyddiau yn ystod y tymor gwyliau.

'Gwyl Pen Draw'r Byd' wedi dod yn arbennig o lwyddiannus bob blwyddyn - grwpiau roc, canu gwlad ayb a chwaraeon a chystadlaethau ar y traeth. Denu tyrfa fawr bob mis Awst. Cyngerdd ar fferm Morfa Mawr yn y nos.

Dilyn y ffordd o'r pentref ddwy filltir i'r de-orllewin i Uwchmymydd, a'r Mynydd Mawr,(SH 145255) . Safle bicnic ddelfrydol yng ngolwg Ynys Enlli dros y Swnt, a ffordd i gar fedr mynd i gopa'r mynydd. Yr olygfa o fôr a thir o'r copa yn arbennig. Yr holl dir yn eiddo'r Ymdiriedolaeth Genedlaethol.

Efallai mai'r mwyaf anghyffredin o'r holl draethau hyfryd o amgylch yr ardal yw Porthor (SH 167300), sydd ychydig i'r gogledd o Aberdaron. Mae'r tywod gwyn yn chwibanu pan fydd rhywun yn cerdded arno.

Gwasanaeth trafnidiaeth gyhoeddus heb fod yr hyn y gellid ei ddymuno, ond y teithiau bws - prin - o Bwllheli, trwy ochor y gogledd -Tudweiliog, Edern, Nefyn, a thrwy'r de - Rhiw, Neigwl, Mynytho. Llanbedrog yn gyfle i weld rhai o olygfeydd gorau'r Penrhyn.

Aberdaron is an old whitewashed fishing village. Situated at the western tip of Llŷn North Wales (SH 17326). It nestles at the mouth of the river Daron, in a small valley on the sea shore. The Daron is spanned by a 17c. Stone bridge situated in the center of the village. It was the final settlement on the mainland for the Saints on their pilgrimage to Bardsey.

The village today is a very busy place during the summer months. Aberdaron has become a very popular location for both sunseekers and water sports enthusiasts.

There are two hotels- the Ship and the Ty newydd, numerous B&B's, two cafe's Yr Hen Best and Y Gegin Fawr and a centrally located car park, ideal for the beach or the many heritage walks.

The Post Office in the center of the village was designed especially to blend in with the character of the village.

There is a popular regatta every August with races open to all-comers. You can go on pleasure or fishing trips. A regular service is run between Enlli and Porth Meudwy throughout the season.

Gwyl Pen Draw'r Byd- is a yearly event which has proved very popular with beach side concerts and competitions on the beach. A concert is held in the evening on Morfa Mawr Farm.

Following the road some 3km to the south west and you come to Mynydd Mawr, (SH 145255). There is a picnic site with magnificent views looking seaward towards Enlli. There is a road to the summit that is owned by the National Trust, and footpaths.

Perhaps one of the most interesting of all the beautiful beaches around Aberdaron is Porthor (SH 167300). This bay about 2km from Aberdaron has smooth white sand that whistles as you walk on it hence the English name for the cove- Whistling Sands.

Buses- Public transport to the region leaves Pwllheli and takes the northern coast road from Nefyn through Edern and Tudweiliog or via the southern coast road- Llanbedrog, Mynytho, Neigwl, Rhiw- giving the passenger some of the best views of Llyn.
